We're paid by you.

Never by the care home.

Most "free" placement services make their money from the care homes they refer you to — a commission that quietly rewards whichever provider pays best, not whichever is right for your family. We don't take a penny from providers. One transparent fee, paid by you, only if we succeed.

Why it matters: every provider we recommend is scored against CQC history, staffing stability, and specialism fit using the same methodology, regardless of what they charge. A commission-funded model can't make that promise. We can.

Fees, by case type

One flat fee per completed placement. No hourly billing, no surprise add-ons.

Standard placement  £950
Self-funders and families arranging care at their own pace, with time to consider options fully.

Urgent hospital discharge  £1200
Coordinated placement support against a 5–7 day target, working alongside discharge teams and social workers.

Complex & Court Protection  £2000
Deputyship, LPA, or multi-agency cases requiring a documented, defensible placement rationale.

Every fee includes: a full needs assessment, a shortlist scored against our Quality Score methodology, coordination of viewings, support through to placement, and outcome review calls at 30 and 90 days.

How payment works
Split into two stages, so you're never paying for work we haven't done yet.

First

30% on shortlist

Once we've assessed your needs and presented a scored shortlist of suitable providers.

Then

70% on placement

The balance is due once a placement is confirmed and your family member has moved in.

Questions families ask

Do care homes pay you anything?

No — ever. That's the whole point of charging a transparent fee. It's what lets us recommend the right home for your family, not the one that pays us the most.

Isn't a "free" service better value?

It depends who's really paying. A commission-funded service is rarely free — the cost is usually built into the fees you pay the care home, and it comes with a quiet incentive that isn't in your interest. Our fee is the only cost, stated upfront.

What if my situation changes partway through?

Get in touch as early as possible — we'll talk through what's changed and adjust the search accordingly. If we haven't yet found a placement, no fee is owed beyond any deposit stage already reached.

Can my solicitor or financial adviser pay on my behalf?

Yes, with your written authorisation — this is common for Court of Protection and deputyship cases, where a solicitor or professional deputy manages the arrangement.

There's no charge for an initial discussion about your situation — we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit before anything else.
